Former Taoiseach appointee (soon to get another go at it) and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that no accommodation is guaranteed for Ukrainian refugees ‘for a couple of weeks.’
This follows reports that a growing number of refugees have been forced to sleep on the floor at Dublin Airport after arriving here.
Nevertheless, the Government is holding urgent meetings to discuss the situation and provide accommodation to every refugee.
Meanwhile, the list of homeless people in Ireland keeps growing, with the Government giving the proverbial ‘ah well, it’s a them kind of problem’ attitude.
