No signs of summer just yet as forecasters say another unsettled week is in store

It may be June but any signs of summer seem far away as forecasters say we are in for another unsettled week ahead.

According to Met Eireann, the next few days will see scattered showers along with cool temperatures.

Although the today (Monday) will be relatively dry, it is expected that conditions will become unsettled from Tuesday onwards.

The national forecaster say heavy and persistent showers are expected later in day on Tuesday, whilst Wednesday will see much of the same with showers expected in much of Munster and Leinster.

Met Éireann say temperatures throughout the week are expected to range between 12 to 18C.
