Slane Castle’s planned summer double concert has been postponed to next year.
Owner Lord Henry Mountcharles, who previously said he intended to bring live music back with a grand style double concert this year, admitted he could not do so in 2022.
It’s understood that a world-class band is due to play the amphitheatre for 2023. However, it’s not yet known at this point who the famous band will be.
The favourite at this point is Coldplay or AC/DC, both of whom would see eager fans lining up for tickets.
