There’s still no sign of summer weather for Ireland just yet, as Met Eireann is forecasting thunder, hail showers, and more heavy rain for the coming days.
Today, Saturday, will be a mild day with periods of sunshine mixed with heavy showers, and temperatures reaching 17C at times.
Sunday will be a similarly unsettled day, with rain and sun and temperatures hovering at around 16C. A spell of thunder is possible during Sunday afternoon.
The beginning of the working week will fare no better in terms of weather at least, with regular outbreaks of heavy rain lasting until Wednesday at least.
