Met Eireann has ruled out any snowfalls for today, Christmas Day, predicting instead a cold, dry, and bright day, with cloud cover developing later in the day and this evening.
This morning will start cold and dry, with good bright spells of hazy sunshine. Cloud cover will develop later in the day, with temperatures reaching 9 or even 10C at times.
St. Stephen’s Day is forecast to be rather blustery, with plenty of rain, and temperatures rising to 12C.
