The iconic Paris landmark has just become even more thrilling.
57 meters up (180 feet) on the tower’s first level, a new glass surface has been fitted, where those without acrophobia can stand, sit, or lie down, and watch the sheer drop right beneath their feet.
This new and recently unveiled feature has proved a hit with visitors, who are queuing up for a piece of dizzying action.
The glass surface is part of a 40 plus million Euro expenditure on renovations of the first level of the 125-year-old landmark.
