Figures released by NHPET claim that there have been 169 deaths with Covid-19 since the beginning of April.
More than half of those deaths, 94, occurred in April. 37 people died from Covid-19 in May. 14 people died with, no specifically from, Covid-19 in June and 16 deaths from Covid-19 in July.
Eight people have died with Covid-19 so far in August. Since mid-May, the cyberattack on HSE computer systems has made it difficult to regularly communicate figures on Covid 19 deaths.
No specific dates were given in relation to those who died with Covid-19.
