A man and a woman have been arrested this afternoon on suspicion of murder following the death of a 4-yr-old boy in Limerick in March 2021.
The man is aged in thirties and the woman in her twenties are being held at police stations in Limerick City under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The boy was fatally injured in a house in Rathbane on March 13. He died three days later in Dublin hospital.
