The green light to ending most of the Covid restrictions has been given to the government by NPHET.
According to RTE, only mask wearing, international travel Covid passes and isolation when someone is symptomatic are to remain in place.
It is reported that NPHET provided its recommendations to Government tonight and have allowed the Government to decide their own timeline for the restrictions to be lifted.
Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe spoke about the situation on Prime Time and said that a decision would be made on how restrictions are to be eased tomorrow. He said that they would likely be lifted earlier now that NPHET has told the Government that they can do so.
