The ongoing Covid-19 restrictions in Co Kildare look set to remain in place as the National Public Health Emergency Team have said that the situation hasn’t progressed to a point were restrictions can be lifted.
Speaking at the NPHET briefing this evening Dr Ronan Glynn said that although the situation is improving slowly he said unfortunately the situation hasn’t stabilised to a point were restrictions can be lifted.
Dr Glynn said that the current restrictions are having the effect we want in terms of stopping the spread of the virus.
He added that the situation will be continued to be monitored closely.
