NPHET to dictate to government that there must be an extremely cautious lifting of any restrictions

The Taoiseach Micheal Martin is going to be told what to do once again but NPHET, who are going to dictate to Martin, Leo Varadkar and Eamon Ryan as to just what they can and cannot do in relation to lifting the draconian lockdown restrictions imposed on the Irish people.

The National Public Health Emergency Team are said to be preparing to tell the government that there must be an extremely cautious lifting of any restrictions from April 5th.

It’s understood that continuous daily numbers of around 500 new cases are the reason behind a very slow reopening.

Many people are genuinely concerned that there won’t be much of a reopening at all in April. However, increased frustration across the country is demanding a reopening sooner rather than later, but the big question is whether or not Micheal Martin will stand up to NPHET’s demands. So far, he hasn’t and it’s not looking likely that things will change any time soon.
