The Department of Health have confirmed that there has been 2,074 new Covid-19 cases reported over the past 24 hours.
In an announcement the Department also confirmed that there are 229 people in hospital.
They also say there are 43 people in ICU across the country.
The latest figures have prompted widespread concerns amongst NPHET saying the rise in cases is an issue of real concern.
