NPHET will make a decision on whether children will be allowed to go to school without masks

The directive that requires children to wear masks in schools could be dropped if NPHET says so at a meeting reportedly to be held tomorrow.

According to RTE, the contentious measure will be on the agenda for the team with parents eagerly waiting to see if the masks can be removed along with other restrictions.

There is ongoing difference of opinion on the obligation of children to wear masks with some parents thinking it is necessary while others think that children will always want to see the faces of their friends and that many children find masks very uncomfortable.
