A fresh wave of strike action by nurses and midwives may be on the horizon, as union representatives have flatly rejected the proposed new contracts offered by the Government.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) went as far as saying that the proposed conditions might make the current situation of understaffing, rostering, and redeployment even worse.
The row continues.
