Oggy Oggy Oggy Oi Oi Oi: Dublin school comes up with ingenious idea to get students active in the morning

In recent times a number of school’s have been trying to come up of ways to get their students active so they can retain a healthy lifestyle, however one Dublin school may have come up with a ingenious idea to get their students moving.

The school St. Raphaela’s in Stillorgan, came up with the clever idea of having all their students dance to get them actively up and moving in the morning.

The schools idea has since become a viral sensation after they posted a video online showing the students dancing to Mark McCabe’s dance classic Maniac 2000. The new programme is part of a new active schools initiative which aims to get students moving more during their lunch break and at the start of the school day.
