Punters looking forward to a day full of fun and beer at the London’s take on the traditional OktoberFest were left bitterly disappointed, as the event was cancelled at short notice.
Long queues formed at London’s Tobacco Dock ahead of the OktoberFest party, but organisers were forced to pull the plug as they felt the premises could not cope with the unexpectedly large crowds waiting to get in.
Ticket holders will now be offered a full refund.
