Nearly 34kg of cannabis herb, with an estimated street value of €680,000, have been seized by Gardai at a house in Querrin, Kilkee, Co. Clare this afternoon.
The raid was a combined operation between Gardai from both Clare and Limerick.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this significant seizure, and is being held at Kilrush Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
