One person is dead and two injured following a two-car collision on an Irish road.
The accident happened near the village of Garrienderk near Kilmallock in Co. Limerick, at around 2.30pm on Sunday.
The driver of one of the cars, a woman in her 30s, was rushed to hospital but died a short time later. The occupants of the second car, a man and a woman in their 70s, were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
It is understood that their injuries are not life-threatening.
