One fatality has been confirmed after a car struck a parked car and a wall in Co. Westmeath.
The incident happened on the R148 at Griffinstown near Kinnegad shortly after 9.30pm on Monday evening.
A male in his 20s, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car, also a male in his 20s, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
