Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a body at the side of the road in Co. Leitrim overnight.
The body, believed to be that of a female in her 70s, was found near the Manorhamilton Road at around 10.30pm on Monday evening.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
