One fatality has been confirmed, and four people injured, following a crash involving a stolen car in an Irish county.
The incident happened near Hennebry’s Cross on the N77 between Kilkenny town and Ballyragget just before 4pm on Friday.
The deceased, a male in his 30s, survived the crash but died in hospital a short time later. He was the driver of the suspected stolen car.
The injured parties were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
