One fatality has been confirmed following a road crash in Co. Roscommon.
The incident, which involved two cars, happened on the N4 at Doon near Boyle at around 5pm on New Year’s Eve.
The driver of one of the cars, a female in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male in his 30s was injured.
