One fatality reported following a multi-vehicle road crash in an Irish county overnight.
The accident, which involved three cars, happened at Derrygarra Lower in Butlersbridge, Co Cavan, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A woman in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other women, aged in their 30s and 50s respectively, were rushed to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
