One pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a car in Co. Cork.
The incident happened on the N25 in Midleton shortly after 9pm.
The deceased, a male in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are asking for witnesses to contact Midleton Garda Station on 024 462 1550, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
