One person has been killed, and four more were injured, after a suspension bridge collapsed in France, sending vehicles to the river below.
The bridge links the towns of Mirepoix-sur-Tarn and Bessieres, sited about 30km north of Toulouse.
It’s understood that there were at least three vehicles on the bridge at the time of the accident.
A 15-year-old female lost her life in the tragedy.
The bridge was built in the 1930, and authorities say that the structure was checked ‘regularly.’
