Opinion: Nonsensical government restrictions and rising Covid cases despite vaccination rates are leading more and more people to question official narrative despite it being considered “blasphemy” to do so

The government and their bosses in NPHET have made some bemusing and seemingly nonsensical decisions over the last 19 months but Tuesday’s announcements have even the most non-critical thinking citizens scratching their heads trying to make sense of them.

From Friday, for indoor live music, drama, live entertainment and sporting events, members of the audience and spectators should be fully seated with standing permitted at seats RTE has reported however, the continued use of masks, vaccine certificates and physical distancing measures will remain in place until February.

So, you can dance with no mask on in a packed nightclub and also discard the mask while drinking but you must wear the mask while entering the club and when using the toilet?

Presumably, the government allows masks to be taken off when social outing starved young, drunk people are looking for the shift?

These restrictions remain in place as do the apartheid-esque Covid passports which deny certain rights and freedoms to those who have opted not to or are unable to take the experimental jab.

This is despite the fact that Ireland’s is one of the most vaccinated countries in Europe and still has the one of the fasted growing case rates and while our most jabbed county Waterford, has 99.97% vaccination uptake seeing, in conversely has the fastest increasing rate of Covid-19 infection.

Critical thinkers have learned that hard way that to even suggested there are questions about the efficacy or safety of the Covid-19 vaccine or question government dictates on society is akin to a modern form of blasphemy but even the most unthinking must now be begging to question the endless, uniform corporate media narrative.
