The 26-yr-old gunman who shot and killed 13 people yesterday in an Oregon College is said to have been obsessed with terror groups and that he idolised the IRA.
Chris Harper-Mercer, was shot dead by police after the incident at Umpqua Community College in Oregon.
Pictures uploaded in 2014 to social media, show the gunman’s support for the IRA. They were posted to his MySpace account, along with captions saying “looking cool defending their country” and “have faith and keep fighting”.
He also posted various videos showing IRA members wielding weapons and wearing balaclavas.
