The ongoing election campaign has taken its toll on many of us with politicians being seen and heard everywhere from being on TV, Radio and even calling to your front door, but for one poor Dublin woman the political campaigning caused more stress than it should have after she had to be taken to hospital after she was struck by an election poster in Dublin over the weekend.
The poor unfortunate woman who goes by the name Maria, and wishes to remain anonymous, from Clondalkin received a severe cut to the head after she was unexpectedly struck on the head by an election poster which wasn’t secured properly whilst walking along the Firehouse Road.
The young woman was then reportedly taken by ambulance to Tallaght hospital where she had her head laceration glued. Thankfully Maria was discharged from hospital a short time later and returned home to her house in Clondalkin.
