Our own are forgotten – Some 2,800 Irish children are now homeless in Ireland

It appears as though Ireland’s own people are completely forgotten while thousands of people flood into Ireland on a daily basis.

It’s been confirmed that at least 2,800 Irish children are homeless around the country – a statistic that the government should be utterly ashamed of.

Homelessness is still rampant in Ireland today, in 2022, as the number of homeless people here has risen by 23% since last year.

As of March 2022, there were 9,825 officially listed as ‘homeless’. The true figure is probably much higher.

Meanwhile, the Government keeps waving through tens of thousands of refugees who are given preferential access to accommodation.
