We’ve all seen the UA number plates over the past year and a half. The strange thing is however is that most UA registered cars in Ireland are high-end vehicles, indicating that these people are well off enough to not require social welfare off the back of the Irish taxpayer.
In a very heated debate on immigration in the Dail today, Danny Healy-Rae said that he has seen computer gaming chairs for children in the back of Porsche registered Ukrainian vehicles being driven around the place.
He said that our own children aren’t getting such chairs, making the point that some Ukrainians are really beginning to the take rise out of Ireland’s hospitality.
But the question remains, what should be done? Do you think Ireland has taken in too many Ukrainians – the number currently stands at 96,000.
