Over 50 Portuguese Man O’ War jellyfish wash up on an Irish beach




Over fifty Portuguese Man O’War jellyfish have washed up on a beach near Derrynane, Co. Kerry.

The species pack a potentially deadly punch, as its venom can kill a human through toxic shock.

Authorities are warning people to stay away from the jellyfish, as the tendrils remain poisonous even after the animal’s death.
