There’s over 500 ambulance personnel on strike today from 7am until 5pm in a major row over union representation.
The row sees ambulance personnel belonging to the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA) taking action across the country with two further days of strike action planned February the 28th and the following day on March 1st.
Today’s strike includes ambulance personnel including paramedics, advanced paramedics and emergency medical technicians.
The strike has been called as these medical professionals are demanding that they should have a right to be represented by the union of their choice.
