A Garda investigation is underway after a man aged in his 50s sadly died after falling from the fourth floor of the Mater Hospital.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the investigation comes after the man who was a patient under care fell from a bathroom window which he is believed to have broke.
It is also reported that a member of staff tried to save the man by grabbing him, but unfortunately he couldn’t hold on.
Gardaí say they were alerted to the incident which occurred shortly after midday on Thursday.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
