Tragic Waterford man David Houlihan lost his life in a drowning accident in Thailand on Monday night.
He went missing while on his way back to the hotel where he was staying. His body was found the next day.
A family friend set up a YouCaring fundraising page, which has helped raise €21,000 so far to bring David home.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is currently providing consular assistance to the family.
