The Government’s inability/unwillingness to properly address the overcrowding crisis continues to haunt them today.

It has been revealed that 400 people are currently languishing on trolleys across several medical facilities nationwide, waiting for a bed.

According to figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital is faring the worst, with 34 people in need of a bed.

Next on this grim list is University Hospital Limerick, with 30, and third is Cork University Hospital, listing 29 people on hospital chairs and trolleys today.
