The two co-owners of a security and facilities company based in Co Galway, which secured State contracts last year to support housing for International Protection (IP) applicants and Ukrainian refugees, received a combined dividend of €5.68 million, reports Breaking News.

Alan Connolly and Conor Nolan, both from Ballinasloe, Co Galway, each hold a 50% stake in Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd via their company Be Rite Group Ltd.

Recently filed accounts reveal that Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd issued a dividend of €5.68 million to Be Rite Group Ltd last year — meaning both owners received €2.84 million each, reports Breaking News.

This dividend followed a substantial rise in pre-tax profits at Allpro Security, which jumped from €1.6 million to €12.28 million in the 12 months ending March 2024.

The profit growth came as the company’s revenues nearly tripled, rising from €15.85 million to €44.3 million during the same period, reports Breaking News.

After paying a corporation tax bill of €1.62 million, the company posted an after-tax profit of €10.56 million.

Company directors said the core business activities include security services, cleaning, and facilities management.

According to figures previously released by the Department of Integration, Allpro Security Services Ireland was paid €6 million (including VAT) in Q1 of this year alone under State contracts, reports Breaking News.

That followed €14.59 million (including VAT) received in the second half of 2024 for services related to IP and Ukrainian accommodation.

Allpro’s payments were part of a broader State expenditure of €1.84 billion in 2024 for housing IP applicants and Ukrainian refugees, reports Breaking News.

A Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration spokesperson confirmed that Allpro Security Services Ireland Ltd “is contracted to provide services at three State owned sites accommodating people seeking international protection”.

He said: “These are Columba Barracks, the Central Mental Hospital Dundrum and Kilbride Army camp. It also provides services to commercial providers at Synge Street and Mount St Mary’s,” reports Breaking News.

He added: “Аllpro Security Services Ltd also provided the Facilities Management services at the Emmaus Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin, which provided accommodation to people fleeing the war in Ukraine until the end of May 2025,” reports Breaking News.

He said: “The Department is working with Аllpro Security Services Ireland Ltd to return this building to the Christian Brothers, which involves refurbishing this property to its condition prior to the licence commencement,” reports Breaking News.

The updated accounts also show that Allpro Security’s workforce fell from 1,000 to 897, though overall staff costs increased from €8.49 million to €12.26 million.

Looking ahead, directors noted that the company has undertaken a substantial investment since year-end, which they believe will lead to higher revenue and greater profits in the future, reports Breaking News.
