The popular Pope Francis will be visiting Ireland in 2018 it has been confirmed.
Enda Kenny visited the Vatican this morning where it’s understood an amicable meeting took place.
Pope Francis has travelled the world including both North and South America. Both visits were massively successful.
The last Papal visit was in 1979 where over 1 million people turned out to a mass in the Phoenix Park along with a further 250,000 going to another mass in Monasterboice, County Louth.
