The Teachers Union of Ireland say that teachers are being put under pressure from both parents and students and that it’s a clear message that any effort to lobby or canvass will not be successful.
It’s understood that it could have a detrimental effect and that intervening could cause issues for the student in question.
Many students feel that it’s completely unfair that they are going to get graded on they performed during the year rather than a one-off end of year exam.
It comes as the ASTI appear to not want to go ahead with the proposed Leaving Cert plan.
