Parents up and down the country have been left utterly outraged at Bus Eireann over their children being point-blankly denied a bus ticket for the upcoming academic year.
Posting on social media, parents are saying that their kids are starting back at school either next week or the week after and they’re left to fend for themselves to get to school after being told they won’t be issued a ticket from Bus Eireann.
The debacle has reached the Dail with many calling on Micheal Martin and Leo Varadkar to actually do something about it and not leave, predominantly rural children, on the side of the road.
