Parents in Co Clare are being urged to be on alert after a child was suspiciously approached earlier this week.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the warning comes after a child was approached by a man in a van outside a rural school in Ennis.
The Irish Mirror reports, that the man allegedly approached the child and told them that their mam told me to pick you up.
It is understood that the incident was brought to the attention of the principal of the school and parents living thr area have been informed about the incident.
Meanwhile Gardai have also been informed about the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
