Partner of Ruth Maguire thanks emergency services and the public in an emotional post paying tribute to his ‘soulmate’

The partner of Ruth Maguire has paid tribute to Ruth saying she was his ‘soul mate.’

Mr Griffin also thanked emergency services for their help and the public for their support in an emotional post on social media.

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, Ruth’s partner James Griffin, said the following:  “I would like to say a big thank you to Kilkeel coastguards, the emergency services, Garda and the local people from Carlingford for everything they have done to find Ruth.

“I would also like to say thank you for all the kind messages I’m getting regarding Ruth’s passing.”

“Ruth will be missed more than she will ever know by myself and our three children and families.

“Ruth wasn’t just my partner, she was my soul mate.”

Mr Griffin’s post comes as funeral details for Ms Maguire have been announced.

It is understood that Ms Maguire who was tragically found dead after going missing from a hen party in Carlingford in Co Louth last Saturday, will be laid to rest at St Vincent de Paul Church in Belfast on Saturday morning.
