Fresh faced and inexperienced Fine Gael TD Noel Rock could barely contain himself with the opportunity to grovel to the public for their approval.
The Dublin North-West TD took immense pleasure in declaring he will not be taking the extortionate €5,000 increase in a politician’s salary.
The 28-yr-old, best known for trying to get his name known for jumping on the Pat Hickey Olympic ticket fiasco, said he wouldn’t be taking the increase – but hypocritically still voted to pass it.
According to social media, the public didn’t buy his attempts and deemed him “pathetic” with one user claiming Rock is “a rat trying to jump ship”.
Rock is completely sycophantic towards Hillary Clinton. He has proudly posted images on social media of himself and the woman who deleted 33,000 emails.
There’s no sympathy for Rock who’ll still be receiving the best part of €2,000 a week.
