Paul Murphy TD has blasted the Minister for Agriculture Dara Calleary for attending the Oireachtas Golf society event in Clifden on Wednesday.
In a tweet posted following the revaluation, the Solidarity People Before Profit TD said that Calleary’s actions were dangerous as it undermines public health advice.
Murphy also said Calleary blatantly broke the rules despite attending the meeting in which they were made the previous day.
Murphy’s Tweet reads as follows: “Dara Calleary was at the meeting making the rules one day and blatantly broke them the next.”
“On a normal day, it would be a gross illustration of the arrogance of political establishment.”
“During a pandemic, it’s actually dangerous because it undermines the public health advice.”
