The Football Association of Ireland are under major financial pressure and now it’s been revealed that they even own the gardai a bucket of cash.

It’s understood that the FAI owe €360,000 for policing matches and other such operations around the country last year.

According to RTE, the total owed to gardai is €357,244.95 – which is still outstanding.

It’s not yet known when the fees will be paid but it’s believed that much of it is owed to gardai for overtime work.
