Amazon’s boss and founder Jeff Bezos and his ex-wife, Mackenzie have reached an agreement and finalised the biggest recorded divorce settlement in history.
Jeff is left with 75% of their stock in the tech giant, Amazon and will see MacKenzie with close to $36 billion in shares.
MacKenzie Bezos intends to give all of her stake in The Washington Post and the space exploration firm Blue Origin to her ex-husband, Jeff who just happenes to also be the world’s richest man. He’ll also get full voting control of her remaining Amazon stock.
55-yr-old Jeff and 48-yr-old novelist, MacKenzie married in 1993 and have four children. Jeff started the enormous website in the couple’s garage in 1994.
