Two Muslim terrorists plotting to carry out a massacre of children at a Kindergarten have been arrested in Paris.
The two men, both aged 20, were arrested on March 25th and have been charged with plotting to commit murder against children at a play school and the police officers who would respond.
It has been reported by French media that one of the men was already known to the French intelligence agency the General Directorate of Homeland Security (DGSI).
The mastermind of the plot admitted in police interrogation that he had intended to enter a Kindergarten and murder children before taking some other hostage to lure police into a trap.
He is said to have been inspired by Mohamed Merah, another Muslim terrorists who carried out the Toulouse and Montauban shootings that targetted students and staff at a Jewish school as well as French soldiers.
French security services had been monitoring the mastermind of the plot since 2015 when he became associated with radical jihadists.
