Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that a pedestrian has been hospitalised after being struck by a Luas tram.
It is understood the pedestrian was hospitalised following the incident which between Ballyogan and Leopardstown stops on Thursday evening.
Gardai say the injured man was taken to hospital, whilst the driver of the tram was also treated for shock.
