Hardcore Penneys shoppers reportedly queued stolidly from 4am today, just to be first in line. These shopping pioneers would stand at their chosen spot for a solid 2.5 hours before the shop actually opened.
Queues saw many people in the Mary St. area of Dublin eventually seeing the store outlet there opened at 6:30am.
Similar scenes were replicated elsewhere as shoppers gathered in eager anticipation to get their Penneys fix.
Shoppers said that the #1 priority and item on their list was a new pair of pyjamas.
