People applying for driving tests now will likely be taking the exam at some point next year, according to the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
When people apply for a test, they receive an ‘invitation date,’ and it’s only at that point that the actual test can be booked.
There’s currently a delay of 3-5 weeks between the ‘invitation date’ and when test dates are actually available.
