People in receipt of Covid-19 pandemic payments could potentially face an unexpected tax bill at the end of the year.
According to TaxBack.com those who are currently claiming pandemic payments could face a bill of between €150 and €2,828 by the end of the year.
The news comes after TaxBack.com conducted a survey which asked respondents whether or not they were aware that they will face a bill at the end of 2020.
Although 43% of respondents said they were aware of a potential tax bill, 57% of respondents said they weren’t aware of the future tax liability.
